Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Data Meaning website at https://www.datameaning.com and the online tools, guides, scorecards and apps we offer through it (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who we are

The Service is provided by Data Meaning Services Group ("Data Meaning", "we", "us" or "our"), 2255 Glades Rd., Suite 324A, Boca Raton, FL 33431, United States.

Client engagements

Consulting, managed services and other work we do for clients is governed by the written agreement signed for that work, such as a master services agreement or statement of work. If such an agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement wins.

Using the Service

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • use the Service in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
  • try to get unauthorized access to the Service, its servers or any connected system;
  • interfere with the Service, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code;
  • copy or collect content from the Service in bulk by automated means, except search engines indexing public pages;
  • send information through our forms that is false, or that you don't have the right to share.

Our content

The Service and its content, including text, graphics, guides, videos, logos and software, are owned by Data Meaning or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view, download and print content for your own internal business use, as long as you keep any copyright and other notices. Any other use needs our written permission.

Names and logos of other companies and products shown on the Service belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Tools, guides and scorecards

Our guides, scorecards and other tools give general information to help you think about your data and AI work. They aren't legal, compliance, financial or other professional advice, and their results depend on the answers and information you give. Please check any decision with your own advisers.

Information you send us

When you fill in a form or contact us, you give us information about you and your organization. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect it.

Third-party sites and services

The Service may link to, or work with, websites and services run by others, such as social media platforms. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Data Meaning won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Data Meaning and its people from any claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that come from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
